A Description of our DVD Duplication Service

Supply Media Matters with your master DVD, along with your disc and packaging artwork. We then check your artwork fits the correct template for that style of disc packaging and the printable area of the disc, then a final proof PDF is sent to you for approval, once this is signed off, we start printing your DVD-R on our digital disc printers, this can be done in advance,  allowing you more time to finalise the content on your disc.

Media Matters Technology only use JVC/Taiyo Yuden DVD discs - within the duplication industry, JVC/Taiyo Yuden are considered to have the highest data integrity whilst the printable surface provides a superior print quality

Once you have sent us your master disc (please make a copy of your master before sending it to us), your discs are then duplicated on our automated R-Quest duplication systems. As with replication, we have a vast array of different packaging options avilable, and the final part of the process is for our packers to place your discs in your desired packaging.

The main difference between Duplication and Replication?

DVD Duplication is an in house copy service, via our automated DVD Duplication equipment we transfer or copy bit for bit the exact data on your DVD master to a pre manufactured recordable DVD-R disc, your artwork is then printed directly to the disc surface on our digital disc printers.

Media Matters Technology can easily print up to around 2000 discs in house in a fairly short space of time, and 500 discs is easily acheiveable for overnight production. But with any CD or DVD duplication over a 1000 discs, replication is the more cost effective (but slower) option, with a production turnaround of typically 10 working days.
